What file types does Evoto support?

Evoto supports JPEGs, TIFFs, and PNGs. It also supports processing most camera RAW file types. Evoto RAW processing is based on our own powerful RAW engine. We regularly update our library and make improvements to provide perfect support for new cameras. Note that Evoto currently does not support image file that is bigger than 1 GB and whose pixels are bigger than 12000*12000.

What is the maximum number of photos to be imported at a time?

Evoto doesn't limit the number of photos to be imported into each project, but it limits the number of photos you can import at a time.

You can import up to 15,000 photos each time.

Why is my picture blurry after being imported into Evoto?

Evoto will accept all types of RAW files, and will not try to lower the resolution for the original images. However, when you first download the Evoto, based on your computer, some of the default settings are various based on the computer. You can check on the preview size you have set up for Evoto. Go to Settings -> Preview -> Preview size, Evoto will usually have a default selection for you, but you can always maximize the preview size to 4000 (the maximum size that Evoto currently supports).

The preview will not affect the export quality, and you will still be able to export the image with the original quality.

Adding Support for Nikon HE/HE* Compressed Format Images

We have received feedback from many users that Evoto does not support Nikon Z8, Z9, and ZF Raw images. This is primarily because these users have imported Nikon images in the "HE/HE*" compressed format. From version 3.5.0, We have now added support for this type of image format.
